Transformers 3 follow up!

So, I had a great time with the people who came out to the midnight premier of Transformers Dark Side of the Moon! there were 6 of us, so up one from last midnight movie! I would recommend going to see the movie, it was good. Lots of pretty cars and big explosions, and some emotions rolled in there too!

Our next midnight movie is Harry Potter and i know a lot of people are excited about that one! I'll get more details together soon. I'm trying to get a "catch-up" marathon for the first 7 movies, maybe in 2 separate day because that is a long marathon! More to come on that one!

Transformers 3

Our Midnight showing movie for June is Transformers: dark of the moon. the franchise decided to do a mid week release, meaning the midnight showings will be on tuesday night the 28th/ wednesday at an insane hour the 29th. I have check the deal of $5 tuesdays and $6 tuedays at Austell 22 and NCG Acworth and they do not apply to the midnight showings. So here is what we will go with.

Green Lantern Group

hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that a group of us (casey, mack, andrea, drew, and myself) did go to the green lantern midnight showing. I enjoyed our time together! I enjoyed the movie too (minus the immature audience activity before the movie started)but i am not a comic book buff, so i'm not sure how that goes for them.

We discussed in class last sunday to do group movies on the weekend, instead of midnight showings with the exception of Transformers toward the end of june and harry potter in july. so i will be gin working on those and get info up soon. I know that HP tickets have gone on sale for some theaters, but the last i check non were in our area. I'll keep checking. I have a feeling that we will have to buy well in advance for that one.

Green Lantern Midnight Showing

Hey guys! Our first big midnight showing of the summer is The Green Lantern. I've don't some searching of the midnight showings and here is the run down on prices:

AMC Barrett 24 is $11 for regular movie or $15 for 3-D

or NCG Acworth is $10.25 for 3-D with no reg. movie right now.


So here is my plan (i'll talk about it in class on sunday)

Movie: The Green Lantern
Where: NCG Acworth
When: June 17th (really the 16th)
Time: 12:05 - maybe meet for dinner and go to stand in line together so we can all sit together. Plan on getting there around 10 to stand in line. This theater is really strict on saving seats for midnight showings. You must stand in line together to sit together.


Other details: I will be willing to go pick up tickets on Tuesday or Wednesday, but would need cash to do so.

Movies this summer

Hey BH Free Falling peeps. I am going to try to use this to post the movie info... and i will try to send it out on FB too. Maybe email or calling you if that works too.

I am wondering what movies you guys want to try to do midnight showings for. I know the HP is a definite for most people so I will start working on that. The cheapest theater I know of is NCG in Acworth. I know for some of you it is a drive, but the most you will ever pay is $8 for a movie. Of course it depends on if the movie will be playing there or not. So I am going to use this as our primary theater unless someone has an issue. Then i will switch it to AMC or Regal near town center.

i will also work on some at home movie nights and maybe even a trip to the Drive-in theater. If you have never been to the drive-in in atlanta you are in for a treat! It is a double feature for $7/person! And you can bring your own food in!

Okay, So I am going to get to planning, shoot me any ideas if you have them!
